Do you offer business incorporation services?

We do offer help with incorporation services, however we do not offer legal services or advice. We have partnered with CorpNet, a leading online service provider for all of your incorporation needs, to help with all facets of business incorporation. How do I get started at North Shore Accounting Services?

You can schedule your free, no obligation consultation by through Calendly on our booking page. During your consultation, we will discuss your needs and recommend the appropriate services.

I am ready to hire employees, do you provide payroll services?

At this time we do not offer payroll services, but we do work with trusted partners who provide payroll services to our clients. We can advise on tax forms to fill out and book all payroll entries for you.

I hire subcontractors, can you help me produce and file 1099 forms at year-end?

Absolutely, we will make sure your subcontractors are properly recorded and reflected in your accounting records, and will e-file your 1099 NEC forms at year-end.

Do you see your clients in-person?

We are a fully virtual firm, meaning while we are able to offer video meetings and consultations, our processes are built around a virtual environment. Our clients have access to a secure portal, which is integrated via email, where necessary documents are uploaded and viewed. We utilize Adobe Sign for all engagement letter signatures, and AssureSign for all of the tax return signatures, to ensure IRS-approved knowledge-based authentication procedures are followed.

Is there a written contract for your services?

Once you decide to work with us, we will send out an engagement letter detailing the scope of work and pricing. The letter will also clarify obligations and expectations of both parties. Both accounting and tax preparation services require a signed engagement letter to commence work.

What types of payments do you accept?

For the convenience of our clients, we accept electronic payments via QuickBooks Payments, which can easily be settled directly when you receive your invoice. Cash, check, or PayPal are also accepted. Invoices are billed upon completion of the engagement and are due upon receipt.
